windows won't start up and startup repair can't fix it

I really don't know what happened. It was working perfectly fine about an hour ago. I shut it down and when I turned it back on that is what happened. Since start up repair won't work it takes me to hp recovery manager and the only option I have are to open a comand prompt.

Yes it's a laptop. It's an HP pavilion g6

Sorry Becky for the late reply. Can you take the battery out of the laptop, give it a couple of minutes then plug the power in and turn it on.

It it ask run start up recovery or boot windows normally, select boot windows properly.

I tried that it did the same thing it's been doing.
