Should I disable Windows Write Caching with a hardware Raid?

It's a storage drive and not for the OS and I just want to make sure my data will be safe in case of power failure etc.

Also, is there any other best practices when setting up a raid10 for stability?

Thanks!

Some hardware RAID controllers have battery-backed RAM for caching. Check to see what your RAD controller supports (or is configured to), and make sure you have caching at one place only.

Having an UPS connected to both the PC and the storage is one of the best investments you can ever make.
