Windows Xp cannot detect USB while Windows 10 can

I have installed win10 besides win xp win 10 works fine but now win xp does not detect the usb ports it has question marks on the device manager, also the disk gets a lot of access and is somewhat locks up and is unresponsive I can move the cursor but it doesnt respond to other commands for a while like 5 min then it is responsive again,

I did the System restore to a previous state with NO LUCK

USB ports work on WIN10

please help im pulling my hair

the Nuclear option to reinstall wn xp is an option but would like to know if there more options

and yes win xp usb ports worked fine before I installed Win 10


I have win 10 on a partition and the last 100 gb of a 900 gb hd

I would try booting XP and installing any drivers that are available.

What is the PC model name or motherboard name?
