Windows XP computer restart

Hello. I`ve got problem with my old rig. When I`m runnig the machine, system is loading, windows welcome is showed, i got to desktop where programs from startup are loading. When they are running system is restarting. When I`m in emergency mode there`s no such a problem. I run another hard drive via sata (this which got problems is ide) with Kubuntu computer works fine. What`s the metter? Any ideas?

If safe mode is working fine, then there's something wrong with a process that's part of your startup. Did you recently install any new programs, or try to install any updates? That could have caused an issue.

Try rebooting in safe mode & running System Recovery. Check for any recent restore points, & roll back your PC through each of them until it starts up normally without any problems.

I uninstalled program which was installed yesterdey. I unchecked unnesessery programs from startup. I did a System Recovery to yesterday and it didnt give any results. Only what I can add on is that my grandmother during the night brutally power off this computer by unplugging the power cable from the socket -.-
