Question windows xp fix-error-code-dns_probe_finished_nxdomain-problem

My xp computer, Cannot connect to the internet, I get the above mentioned message,, It worked great until the error, Please help.

Could be many things, internet connection is out, network card is not working, what have you tried already if anything? Is it wireless or wired? Other devices work OK? Try another cable, reconnect the network if wireless?

Drop to a command line and type:

ipconfig

The results will tell you if you have a valid ip address and what your gateway is. Assuming that everything g is ok, type:

ping yahoo.com

This will tell you if you can get out to the internet via your gateway. Let us know ow what you get.
