Windows XP hard drive in Windows 7 computer

I installed a hard drive from a windows xp computer into a computer running windows 7. The installation is as directed by Western Digital. I can see the new hard drive on device manager but it doesn't appear as a disc drive on computer. Device manager says it is working correctly but I am unable to access it. Any ideas?

It may need a drive letter assigning to it in Disk Management. Without a drive letter, the Windows shell cannot show the drive:

Sorry, should have sent you the link for doing it in Windows 7, not XP.

The only difference is the way you get to Computer Management, after that it's identical, so I assume you figured it out.
