A family member has asked me to install XP on to a recent build I did for him as he isn't happy with Win 7. I've tried to convince him to stick with it, but he wants XP.

However after being unable to install XP I've now found out that the motherboard isn't compatible with XP. I've read that it may be possible to download chipset drivers to enable XP to be installed? If this is correct which ones do I need and where can I get them from?

The MoBo is a Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 H81.

Thanks in advance.

Support for Windows XP and Vista ended with Intel Series 7 chipset motherboards. You have an Intel H81 chipset motherboard which is Series 8. Chipset drivers to enable XP are N/A (not available).
