how to upgrade from windows 7 32 to 64-bit

Just put in the install disc and choose x64 this time instead of x86 when going through the install process. That's it!

You have to do a clean installation, there is no way to "upgrade" 32bit to 64bit.

If you have retail version, just reformat and reinstall from original disk. Same deal w/ OEM version except ya gotta go out and buy a new copy. OEM versions are 32 or 64 bit, retail versions are both
