So I've recently upgraded and clean installed windows 10 on my Acer Aspire x3200 (I know it's an awful computer) The only things I've changed with my computer is a new power supply and graphics card.

I've gone on both the acer website and nvidias to try get the drivers needed for my motherboard but as it's Legacy they only go up to windows 7 on both websites. I'm a bit lost as to what I should do as I'm missing chipset driver and audio driver along with whatever else?

I also have a legacy AMD HD 5670 but I managed to get the final driver version for that which was crimson 16.2 beta I believe so I hope that's going to be ok.

So to sum up I've only managed to locate and grab the driver for my graphics card at the moment.

Strictly speaking you should have stayed on Windows 7 if Acer doesn't have Windows 10 drivers for that model.

However, since Microsoft has taken over responsibility for supplying Win10 drivers where the manufacturer doesn't have them (not sure about legacy hardware though), you might get them delivered via Windows Update, though you will need to have a network adapter working for that to happen.

If built-in network adapter needs a driver, you could plug in a Windows 10-compatible USB WiFi adapter temporarily just to get Windows Update functioning.

Ah alright then thank you. Well the PC is working and no problems yet (fingers crossed) so I'll just assume windows supplied the drivers and not worry unless problems occur.
