Hey!

I reinstalled my windows 10 (64bit) OS on a new m.2 nvme ssd and my TPM-Module is not working anymore and won't be recognised by windows but the option to active it comes up in my bios so it does recognize it with other words.

I got both a Asus Motherboard and a Asus TPM-Module. Those are the parts:

TPM-M R2.0 (https://www.asus.com/Motherboard-Accessories/TPM-M-R2-0/HelpDesk_Manual/)

&

Z97-A/USB 3.1 https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97AUSB_31/HelpDesk/

I read both user manuals and just can't get it to work. I activated the TPM in the bios settings but it just doesn't get recognized. I am even trying to update the TPM firmware but the motherboard doesn't let me.
I downloaded the firmware file from the homepage above for the TPM update and put it onto a usb stick and i put the usb stick into the motherboard's USB port and after following the user manual of the TPM all the way until the end for a firmware update but I get a error message as follows:

"The Secure Boot is enabled to prevent untusted operating systems from loading during the system start-up. To launch the EFI shell, please disable the secure boot option."

But there is no option to disable secure boot for me... I just want to use the EFI Shell to make the firmware update to look if that solves the "windows not finding any installed TPM chip" problem :/

Hey!

I got a Asus TPM-L R2.0 20-1pin chip which has worked fine but after a new installation of windows is the chip not recognizable anymore. It's recognized in the BIOS however.

Any Ideas?
