Hello all,
After I rebuilt desktop with Pentium4 MB, 1GB Ram and unknown OS on hard drive but after rebuilt I installed windows 7 ultimate 32bits OS.

The issues after I switched on resulting as described below:-
1. No DISPLAYED on LCD monitor ( no booting)but monitor working as led lit up.
2. Buzzing sound detected.
3. Clicking Harddisk.
4. HDD & POWER LED lit-up.
5. Fan running for processor and main power supply too.
6. Keyboard n mouse no lit-up when started CPU.

I used "F2" & "F8" on keyboard for booting but no displayed.
Unsuccessful attempt due to lack of computing expertise but at least I tried.
Any suggestions or options from your kind assist needed to assist my assignment on rebuilt CPU in which something is missing or improper installation on items. Please do share any advise for my improvement on my subject described.
Thank you and appreciates on your kind support and great attention.
Again thank you.

Papau.

When doing the rebuild, did you unplug and replug cables on the motherboard and so forth, especially power supply stuff? There's a sticky FAQ on this sort of thing.

After your rebuild, did everything work fine on the old OS? I'm guessing "yes" if you were able to run a windows 7 installation disk on it and get that installed. But sometimes people do weird things like clone drives and swap them in.

Can you now use some kind of Linux Live boot disk? i.e. completely different OS, do things work fine?
