I found a bug with docking some ship docked fighter wings to each
other.

First I docked some wings to a ship. All of them have the size of the
max. fighter bay size.

In the second turn I docked one of the ship docked wings to another
ship docked wing. Both are docked to the same ship.

In the third turn both wings were docked to each other and still docked
to the ship. But now the new fighter wing is using only one fighter bay
and not two like before the docking action and the new fighter wing
size is bigger then the ships fighter bay size.

I tested this in two different games.
This goes well with a Crystal Light Ship and an Instrumentality and
should work with every ship which has two or more fighter bays.

With this bug the ships are now able to carry every amount of fighters
the player want.

The question is how should this be handled. . .

1. If a wing is too big for a ship to hold undock it.

2. If a wing is docked to a ship then test to make sure the new larger
wing will fit on the ship in questing before allowing the merge.

Does not really matter which of the below, as long as it is handled.

This should be done, if for any weird reason a too big wing ended up on
a Carrier,
not necessarily through the aforementioned bug...

Such a test is only necessary if both wings are not already docked to
the same ship, that is under the asssumption that before merging none
of the merging wings takes up fewer space than it should.

So the merge should be executed and in the case of a docked

In that case one should not first merge wings (giving the orders to do
so) and then use the flawed Minister option to dock wings to carriers
(the very same turn).
Of course that can be fixed by a better algorithm used for wings
docking to carriers, which should be done anyway.

I´d go for 1.
It´s the players responsibility to check if the new wing will fit. Also,
there might be circumstances, a big, undocked wing will be preferable to two
smaller, docked ones.

As players usually (shoould) know the bay and wing sizes of the ships and wings they actually operating with one is surely
allowed to assume that the merge is wanted under all circumstances. So the merge should be executed and in the case of a docked
wings it then should be undocked. So I also vote for 1.

BTW: Will a merge order be excuted at the MP the wings come into merge range? Is there a merge event before movement in the case
they already sit at the same place? If so, is it even before chunneling? And can wings also merge after exiting a WH or JG?
