Winning a Pole Position race...

Now that I've finally won my first Pole Position race for the first
time, I have to wonder... did Atari have some cross-licensing promotion
with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? I'm trying to figure out
exactly what a fat ooompa loompa was trying to do in a bathing suit at
the finish line.

more then likely a save on ram, why use a lot of precious ram to store a
picture not a lot of people will ever see.

also, remember the home computers running around back then that where state
of the art are VIC20's, Atari 2600's. Tandy Colour Computers.. what else...
