I have more than 100 Windows 2000 pro workstation on my
network [ NetWare 5.1 ]. Over the last week while
troubleshooting a workstation I noticed that the Winnt
folder was missing/hidden. Today I had the same problem on
another workstation ..... missing/hidden Winnt folder.
Needless to say, before this thing run away from me I
would very much love to get a handle on this it. My
question is! has anyone ever come across this before?? Any
suggestion that you may care to offer will be most
appreciated.

thanks

mingo

When you say missing or hidden are you getting an error telling you this or
is it you just cannot see it?

I do not think hidden and missing is the same thing. If the Winnt folder
really is absent, assuming this was the name of the Windows folder (it
could be anything if the default was changed during install, but I guess
you would know about it!), how could the station boot? If it is hidden,
could it be the users changed the corresponding setting? As Rick says,
it looks like we need some more info to understand your problem.
