WINS Missing 1b record

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsnt.misc (More info?)

I have been working on cross domain browsing, but have
noticed that the 1b record is missing from WINS. It is
not filtered as I can see it in one of the domains, but
not the other. I have ensured that the browser service is
running on both PDCs and that they are registering with
WINS, but the record is not there. How do I get the
domain to register the 1b record?

The WINS servers are replicating? You can
use a lmhosts file to import the 1b entry into
the remote WINS server as a workaround.
