Winternals ERD not working with SSD?

I have an old Winternals ERD disc that I use rarely, to boot from a disc, which always worked when I had my Win7 OS on a traditional HD. I switched to a Samsung SSD last year, and just went to try the ERD disc and got BSOD crashes both times after it loaded (After the ERD Windows Screen progress bar) and I think right when it's supposed to give you the option of selecting an OS. The error is griping about the hard drive (assuming that's the issue). The SSD is set as main boot, and set for reliability with the Samsung software, CD drive is 1st boot.

ideas? Would it be better I put ERD on a USB stick, or on a physical drive?

Apparently there was a conflict with the bios settings (think it was the mild OC, unsure). Reset to optimized default and it booted right up.
