WinTV-HVR-1800 Signal Detection Issues

I'm having issues with Windows Media Center detecting signal from my WinTV-HVR-1800 tuner card. I've already downloaded and updated the latest drivers for the card from the website. I have Time Warner digital cable. The cable coaxial cable runs directly to my WinTV-HVR-1800 Ant In port (no set top box or digital adapter). I used to have over the air signal and channels working from 1-99 but I think once Time Warner went digital I lost them all. Now when I run the TV set up guide on Windows Media Player, it says it's 'unable to determine your TV signal configuration.' Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

Did you run the tuner setup and select "cable" instead of antenna and then let it scan for channels?
Are you aware you will only pick up standard/basic cable & Qam channels with this card and not the all digital ones? ie - if you have the digital only package this card isnt going to work at all for you.
