wintype 4000 and xp

Thanks for your tread on what to put the printer as(epson action lazer 1100)
but all the people that have tried this say it does not work. Anyone got any
other ideas(apart from chucking it!)

The WIN95 INI file for that printer has this section in it (maybe try one of
these printers):

[DEFAULT_USE_PORTABILITY]
printer1="QMS 420 Print System"
printer2="QMS 860 Print System"

printer5="QMS 3225 Print System"
