hi there, when an OS is 64bits, what does that mean? does it mean it each instruction is 64bits long or does it mean it can send two 32bit instructions for a 64bit processor to handle at the same time?

can you explain it in a few sentences? or you can just tell me if a 64bit OS is supposed to be faster than a 32bit OS?

i have a simple theory when it comes to compare 32 bits and 64 bits methods

lets just say the GHz is the speed of cars, and 32 bit is a Highway with 2 tracks, and 64 bit is a highway with 8 tracks, so they the same when it comes to the speed, but 64 bit can travel more cars (data 😛) then the 32 bit (2 tracks)

ps, SSE3 could be a Ferrari 😛, loool
