Hey everyone,

I have an old HDD I plan to use in a new build. I will be using a 240gb SSD as a primary but this will be a nice storage component of the build

How do I go wiping all preexisting data off of it? It's currently my only computer so I can't use another to do this.

Solution
To wipe it off reformat it or just place your windows disc or usb into the pc, go through like your installing windows, and at the part where you choose your drive, select the hdd you want to wipe, and delete everything, all partitions and it will say Unallocated Space. Then its wiped.
