So when buying parts to my pc, I bought a used 250gb Samsung ssd 840 Evo. I was wondering if I could wipe the ssd in bios or Something right after I finish building my pc.
Simply select the SSD you install over and it will wipe the drive for you.
If you are simply just using it as a secondary drive:
Follow the guide above but install onto the appropriate drive.
Install new SSD
Boot up PC.
Format the SSD.
You can also format the drive in the OS installation without installing to it, but it is best practice to remove all other drives other than the one you are installing onto for the installation process.
If you have a working computer with Windows now you can connect the drive via SATA power and data cable, boot Windows up, go into Disk Management, right-click and format it. Nothing fancy.
You can 'wipe' is with Secure Erase which is a part of Samsung Magician. That happens under OS like Windows.
If you want to wipe it before installing Windows you can use software like GParted I guess.

Section II, Step 6 & 7 speaks to deleting all existing partitions on the drive during the install.
