Wire internet connection for toshiba latop

Hello,
I'm working with a network group & my internet connection through cable is not working on my laptop. Wireless connection is excellent, however, I want wired connection prior to the network connection for our printer.
Please help me fix this problem

what do you mean by Network Group?

how is the printer connected?
