I have this box on my wall which I assume (I have very little knowledge on this) is a DSL box. The modem is connected to the a box like this in the room it is in currently. We use optimum as our ISP and the modem they provided is arris tm822g with a Sagemcom F@st 5260 router. Could I get a cable that connects to this box and into my computer or a wifi repeater to gain close to ethernet speeds or is this not possible again I know very little about this. Any help is greatly appreciated and sorry for the rough picture, DSL box is pretty old.

Solution
Unfortunately no. Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) actually runs from a telephone wire to a specific modem (Your Arris TM822G) via a standard telephone wire. The modem strips away any voice data (telephone calls) and sends/receives internet data to the router (your F@st 5260). All Internet connections will come from the router.
