My wireless is working fine on both my desktop and other devices. Not sure what the deal here is. It show it being connected but no internet. I've tried power cycling my router and modem. Using the troubleshooter will provide 1-3 errors like "the default gateway is not available"(the most common one) and say it fixes them and it will appear I have internet when looking at the indicator on the bottom right but it still won't work and then eventually it will go back to saying I have no internet and the process repeats. I've also made sure DHCP is active. The ethernet cord was recently hoked up to my ps4 and was working just fine so I don't think it's anything to do with that. And I forgot to mention I did flushdns and release and renew. Thanks in advance for any help!

Edit: Tried pinging google but it didn't work:

C:\Users\TEMP>ping google.com
Ping request could not find host google.com. Please check the name and try again.

Edit 2: I plugged the ethernet cable into my modem instead of my router and that gave my desktop connection but that means I have no wifi at all. I'd like to get it back into my modem because of that. Hopefully this edit helps a little.

Solution
So go through the router troubleshooting steps in your manual first. Then contact the router support for any suggestions on that specific router. Then it is either a repair or replacement of the router.
