Hey I just got new internet and when I connect my computer using ethernet it's signifiantly slower than wireless on the same computer.
Hooking up my roomates computer to the wired produces very fast results (faster than wifi) so the problem is my computer's ethernet connection.
Some speed examples (I'm supposed to get up to 50 mbps from my ISP)
WIRED
http://www.speedtest.net/
8-15 mbps
http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/speed-test.html
23-24 mbps
WIRELESS
http://www.speedtest.net/
30-42 mbps
http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/speed-test.html
30-39 mbps
Adding this if it'll help:
