I have a 100Mbps connection, just bought a new router that can handle the new speeds. It's got 10/100 ethernet and 300+300 wifi.
Problem is that when i plug into the router (all hardlined, we only use wifi for tablets etc), my speed is only approx 65Mbps instead of the solid 94Mbps I get if i'm just plugged straight into the modem.
My pc network card is 10/100/1000. Yes there are other people connected via LAN cables to router, but speed stays the same when i test it with just me plugged into it solo.
All speed data from speedtest.net and I understand the difference between MBps and Mbps, how they interact with one another, and how that pertains to internet speeds. No confusion there
Help?
