We had some electricians wire up wired internet through the walls directly from the modem to my room but when I plug the ethernet into the wall socket then into my pc it doesn't work or even show up as being there. Anyone know what the problem could be? It doesn't work on my laptop or my new desktop gaming pc. They are coming around the fix it but I don't know when.
Is there anyway to fix it via my pc?
The cables are going through the walls and plugging into these wall sockets from which I have to plug in a ethernet cable then plug it into the modem/pc.
