So, Whenever I come home from work and start my computer (wired LAN) I never works originally. Won't work after restarting my computer either. The solution I currently have is to restart my router which seems to fix the problem but, Its been happening every day and I don't want to have to restart my router every day. This problem seems to happen only over long periods of time. When I turned off my computer for 2 hours and resumed It continues to work. So I also have some wifi lightbulb hub attached to it and an alarm system attached to it.Both of these devices work but not my desktop or laptop when I try to connect them. Wireless works for all devices, including my laptop. Swapping Ethernet cables doesn't work. My laptop can't connect via wired lan either when I plug it in. I've updated all the firmware and factor reset my extender. Router is working perfectly. Any help is appreciated.

Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I218-V: 12.18.84 driver date: 10/10/2018 (most recent one I could find online)
  • You will also need to post your ISP and connection type*. : Spectrum cable internet
  • Post any and all error messages you are getting from your ISP or Windows itself: Windows troubleshooter: plug in an Ethernet cable

My thought is some IP address is being duplicated.

Are you using any static IP addresses?

If so make sure that those static IP's are outside of the DHCP IP address range allowed within the router and that those static IPs are reserved on the router via the devices' respective MACs.

Hey, Thanks for the reply, I have already tried setting a static ip address for my computer and the problem still persists.
