Wired Mouse Problem

Hello guys,I have tried everything I have up my sleeve and I still can't work it out.So I want to ask you about a verry stressing problem.I once had a BSoD when I was on google chrome.Probably from some software since I've been searching on it for some time and i may have gotten rid of it.However my mouse stopped working as intended:whenever i have a WINDOWS scroll bar at disposition it keeps going right or bottom(depends which one is available).I dont do anything at this time and it simply moves itself.Like a freaking ghost.Not only that when you can select specific options on an installer for example languages,it simply goes by itself on the bottom.The problem only persists when the mouse is plugged in.It's an wired USB mouse,serioux.It doesn't do that in-game,since it does only on windows scroll bars and option select.I could do a video if you don't understand what I am trying to say.

Perhaps its your mouse's wheel scroll? if its somehow stuck it could cause that problem with the scroll bars and the multiple options in installers, not causing issues in games since most games simply don't use it.

Try moving your scroll button and see if that stops for at least a few seconds the problem, if so, you'd have to open your mouse, give it a nice clean and reseat the scroll wheel.

Hey!Thanks for answering .Yeah..i tried to change the wheel but it's imprinted in the mouse board.I checked it,it isn't stuck..Also about the BSoD i checked it and seems like it was a third party/software issue.
I cant simply get the scroll wheel off of it,the mouse is brand new,i checked it inside,nothing there.It just "blew up" after the bsod.

I disabled the mouse wheel via registry(can confirm it doesn't work anymore) but the problem still persists! WTF?! I am 100% sure it's the mouse,i tested it on my other PC,it does the exact same things.Could this be a ghost? o.o

hmm then most likely its a problem (damage) in your mouse's PCB, nothing to do about it so it might be time to consider getting a new mouse.

Yeah I knew that would be the only efective way to get rid of the problem.I tried another mouse and it doesn't act like that.The mouse is only 2-3 weeks new,I am verry surprised a bsod broke it.I do have another mouse of the same model,but that one has the sensor blown out,but it doesn't have the scroll problem.Perhaps I can change the sensor from this working one to that? PS:The old mouse is still working but barely.

No idea if you can combine them... as for your current mouse I seriously doubt its problem is related with that BSOD, unless that BSOD caused some unexpected shutdown which could have caused some electric burst towards your mouse, very very unlikely but not impossible.

Yeah,there's no way I can combine them.It's strange that the bsod happened and then mouse stopped working properly after that.Yeah that could have been it..imagine if a single bsod did that much damage to the mouse. .-.
