We have very high broadband internet, and we rarely max out the bandwidth. One person in the house received almost perfect internet connection while two of the others will be in the middle of doing something on the internet and suddenly have no connection. All hardware is working properly. All updates are done. The connections are through LAN cables (all of which have been replaced).

What could be causing this?

List all the network hardware.
List what the ISP upload and download speeds you are paying for.
When you have "no connection" can you ping the router? Can you ping 8.8.8.8 ?
When you have "no connection", open a cmd.exe window and run "ipconfig /all"
