My belkin router seems to be have crapped out on me. Wan/Lan ports are not working.
Have tried to switch vlan, nvram settings etc but cant seem to get them started again so looking for a new router...
Requirements:
- Need USB printer sharing (ideally 2 printers shared)
- Need to be able to support 4 concurrent Netflix streams
- Need to be able to support VOIP in parallel with above (Vonage)
I already have a netgear R7000 as being used as an access point.
Cannot use it as a primary router because of the location requirements for modem, have tried that setup earlier and signals do not go far enough in the house.
New router will connect to modem (i.e wan), provide DHCP services along with QoS.
I have Blast Pro tier from comcast currently i.e. 200mbps down/~30 up.
I prefer DD-WRT over native firmware but I guess things have improved with vendors over the years
Have been trying to find something on smallnetbuilder but cannot seem to make up my mind so that is why I am here :-D
What would you recommend for a budget of $150?
