Your router only has a certain wifi bandwidth that is shared between all connected devices, so the more devices the slower the wifi connection for each device. This is not normally an issue for accessing the Internet since your Internet speed is normally the bottleneck and not the wifi speed, but transferring files from device to device may noticeably suffer.
