Hello,
I have a pretty old but still good laser printer that among some legacy printer ports has USB A-B. And that's cool, but I wish that this printer would be wireless. The printer sits in a place where it's hard to pass the cable to the main router. I know there is an option to set up some new router as access point and connect the printer directly but I'm not fully on board with that idea. My questions:
1. What small and easy to set up with an existing network router do you recommend, making the printer wireless and home-accessible? I'm using Asus routers for the main network if that's relevant.
2. Are there any other options to do so? Raspberry-pi-ish things, or so?
My setup:
- HP LaserJet 1015 (yes, it's old)
- Router Asus AX57

I don't have any spare routers nowAny other older, unused routers available?
It's about 5m but there is a wall between. It's impossible to put a cable directly to the router form printer. Let's assume there is no way to physically connect the devices. What is the distance between main router and laser printer? What is, if anything, in between. Any coax cables/wall jacks available?
