Question Wired PS4 Controller keeps disconnecting from PC ?

Hello,

Recently my PS4 controller has been randomly disconnecting and reconnecting from/to my PC. I use a 2.1 USB cable and a dual shock controller. If I wiggle the cable it will reconnect but quickly disconnect again. I changed the cable but the issue is still happening. Any ideas?

I'm not sure my if mobo has Bluetooth.

Since you tried a different cable the issue is probably the port on the controller which is also going to be an issue next time you have to recharge it, a good repair shop will be able to fix it but it might not be worth the money they will ask for that.

Even if your mobo doesn't have bluetooth you can get a dongle, they are pretty cheap.
