Mainly happens playing Valorant. Disconnects will be ~10-15 seconds long and only happen once every hour or so an average.
I have also noticed that when this happens, I can still hear people on discord (but they can't hear me). Also while watching my CPU & GPU while playing. When the freeze happens, my GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060) goes to 0% and my CPU drops. My guess is that this is because the game goes temporarily unresponsive but I am not an expert. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like when the lag spike hits - https://ibb.co/L0B8RP5
Find using slack / zoom calls will also trigger it where it will temporarily disconnect but I can still hear the user. Only seems to happen when I am uploading data as it never occurs watching videos / browsing the web.
This occurs both at home and at work so I can rule out the router / modem.
Any help is much appreciated. I have gone through the gauntlet of online recommendations to no avail.
Thanks
