Wired Xbox 360 is not detected in my laptop

Hi have purchased microsoft xbox 360 wired controller two months back its working awesome on my desktop whenever i connect it to my laptop no response from the controller only the green light at the centre keeps flashing.... help me i badly want to play fifa in my laptop

Either the usb connecter on the xbox has failed or the specific USB port on the laptop has failed try another one or test your controller on another system or xbox.

Try this.

1.Test the all the USB ports on your computer to see if the xbox controller will function in other ports.

2.Try another device in the USB ports on your computer like a mouse.

3. Try you xbox controller on another computer or xbox to make sure its functioning.
