Wireless Adapter Antenna

Ok so I finally got my adapter in the mail today and just installed it.

Could not find this anywhere on the web but how should I aim my antennas, at the router or straight up and down or what? what will give me best connectivity?

Also I my room is directly a floor above my router.

Alright, since i live above my router should I do a V downwards or upwards?

Upwards! I have my one gaming desktop downstairs and the wireless router is upstairs. The desktop antennas for a Vee upwards (like the peace sign).

The other gaming computer is on the same floor (upstairs) and the antennas form an upwards Vee. The signal in both cases goes through 4 drywalls.
