Wireless adapter connects to network on one computer but not wehn moved to a diffrent computer

Hello, I Just Got Tvo so had to switch out my Motorola SURFboard Model:SB6120 Cable modem and Linksys E2000 router to a Hitron MoCHA Cable modem and router combination Model CGNVM-2559. I have a Netgear WNDA3100 v2 wireless adapter. It worked fine on my old network. New Modem and network up and running and All other devise connect fine. My desktop with the Netgear adapter will not.
Desktop will connect fine via Cable. If I take the Netgear adapter out and connect to my laptop and disable the internal adapter, it will connect fine through the netgear adapter.
But on the desktop it won’t I can see the SSID it just says that it won’t connect.

Running Windows 7 Ultimate Service pack 1
asus sabertooth 990fx motherboard
corsair tx750 power supply
Netgear WNDA3100 v2 wireless adapter

I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the latest drivers from Neatgear’s site. I tried netsh winsock reset and released and renewed ip and flushed dns.

Run "ipconfig /all" from the desktop's command prompt versus the Genie program.

Verify that the wireless adapter is enabled when installed on the desktop.

Run the built in Windows network troubleshooter to see what the troubleshooter may find.

Try using a USB extension cable on the USB Adapter. Just to raise the wireless adapter up higher to assist with reception/transmission.

Verify that the wireless adapters's configuration is matched to the new Hitron: Specifically to the Hitron's DHCP Server address and subnet mask.

It was for some reason, but I unchecked the box but it did not solve the problem.
