I'm currently trying to install a TP-Link AC1900 Wireless Adapter in my desktop... Windows will recognize the adapter as "Network Controller" in the device manager. When viewing properties, it has a status of "No drivers are installed for this device".

I've downloaded the latest drivers from thier site and manually will push windows to update the drivers and point to the latest... Windows will got through the process, show that it has successfully installed my wireless adapter identifying it by name. However when I close the window out, it shows that "no drivers were installed" and still as "Network controller" as if Windows rejected the driver.

I've tried TPLink but they were no help, and out of options... Looking for help.

Also, here are some of things I've tried already:
- New Slot
- Updated Driver
- Disabling and reenabling the adapter
- Disabling and reenabling wired adapter
- Uninstalling the device from Device Manager
- Running a repair on Windows 7
- No antivirus
- Installing in safemode
- Checked the Bios
- Installing the latest driver and utility from TP-Link

Beyond this I'm stumped.
