I have been trying to figure this out for 4 hours.

So about a week ago i received all of my parts to build a brand new gaming computer. I have put it together in the last 2 days and got it up and running with the OS and everything today. My only problem is the wifi. I followed all of the steps in the instructions to download the drivers for the adapter, but every time it doesn't work. I successfully enter the disc and the downloader opens on my computer. I follow the steps until it tells me I need to restart my computer to finish downloading. I do so, and it says when it turns back on, I should be able to connect to my wifi. But this is not the case. It just displays a little monitor with a red X on it. I brought my computer downstairs and tested it on the Ethernet and it worked fine. So i know that it is the wireless drivers. I know for a fact it is in right inside the PCI-e slot inside my computer. Please help!

My specs:
CPU- AMD FX-6300 6-cores
GPU- Radeon 7850 2gb
PSU- Corsair 600w modular
MB- msi 970a-643
HDD- WD caviar blue 1tb
RAM - corsair vengeance 2x4gb
Case- rosewill challenger

this is the wireless adapter link : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005KL7RUK/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
