Question Wireless AP Much Slower than Router

Hey guys,

I just installed an access point in my upstairs bedroom. It connects to my router-modem downstairs via an in-wall cable. If I connect the cable directly to my PC, I get around 190mbps. But the moment I connect it to my AP and access it via WiFi, it drops down to 90mbps. Even if use a ETH out cable from the AP, it still clocks in about 90mbps. The AP basically kills the speed.

Any ideas?

It sounds like you AP only supports 100mbit ethernet. What is the model?

Jesus christ, I bought the wrong AP. Sorry for the question lol.
