Is this a good wireless adapter?

Or can i spend the same or less amount of money and get a better one? I can no longer be connected by cable

Would this get me close speeds as i had when i was connected to the cable?

I'd prefer a pcie wifi adapter for my PC eg Asus N53. But that one should be good for a laptop.

Are the adapters that go inside the pc alot faster than the usb ones?

A pcie wifi adapter has better antennas. Wifi is not as fast as ethernet cable.
