Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with TV

I have a Jambox wireless Bluetooth speaker. I want to be able to play the music channel on my TV through this, but my TV is not Bluetooth capable. What is the adapter that I will need?

Look for a 3.5mm to Bluetooth adapter, and plug that into the TV's headphone output. Many of them in different sites, Amazon, eBay, Newegg, etc..

This adapter should be labeled "Bluetooth transmitter" (since "BT receiver" are much more common, and they work other way around).

If your TV only has optical audio out then you would need a transmitter like this one

If your TV has analog audio out or headphone out you can use one like this

If you use a headphone out you will have to adjust the TV volume so it doesn't overload the transmitter. It will also cut off the built in TV speaker when you plug it in.
