So I just got windows 7 ultimate from a friend. I was planning on dual booting windows 10 and windows 7. So I installed windows 7 on a partition and something bad happened. The wireless connectivity did not work. Not only that but it does not recognize my graphics card and my keyboard LED's won't light up (they light up fine in Windows 10). I am puzzled. I got the internet to "work" meaning that I it connects to the internet but internet does not work. It says "Unidentified Network" and it switches from "internet access" and "no internet access". I installed the drivers for the Wireless adapter through moving the installer from windows 10 to 7 using file explorer. Oh and also, whenever I plug in a USB stick, nothing comes up. This is only computer out of 5 computers ion the house that does this. Do I have to install some sort of default windows driver? I have reinstalled the OS multiple times as well.

Solution
Go to your network connections. What is the status under the name of your wireless adapter?

Go to the start menu-->cmd-->ipconfig-->what is the IPv4/subnet/gateway?

what do conflicts look like? when I looked yesterday it all looked fine. Is it like a yellow sign with an exclamation mark? because I do not have those

Yes, that's what it would look like.

Down in the right hand corner by the clock, right click on your internet connection, and run the troubleshooter. It will reset the adapter and try a few other solutions. If there's an issue with DNS or something it will point it out.

No that did not work. It said that everything is working fine
