Wireless Dongle Not turning on?

Hi

I have a Rosewill RNX-N180UBE, and Windows XP doesn't recognize it. It has a chip set made by Realtek, and even after I install the driver, Windows doesn't recognize it.

I have looked in device manager and it says that the device won't turn on.

works in Ubuntu
Connected on the USB ports on the mobo

Try the first driver (rnx-n180ube_win_driver_v1.1.zip) at the top of this page:
http://www.rosewill.com/products/d_1721/productDetail.htm

You will have to unzip the downloaded package first, in order to run the driver installation.

Important: unplug the usb device first. Then install the driver and don't plug in the usb device until you see a prompt telling you to plug it in.

OK, it recognizes the adaptor, but now it doesn't see my WiFi router 🙁

Also, I can't seem to get catalyst installed

UPDATE: Gave up, found a Win7 install disk
