Hi everyone.

I have to set up wifi around the parents' home. Before people say to go for powerlines, unfortunately upstairs and downstairs are actually 2 separate electricity boxes, therefore the lines do not communicate.

Powerlines are out. sounds daft, but ive tried and doesnt work. its an odd setup, im not getting into this.

the router is upstairs, and i need to extend downstairs. its a huge house, therefore, im thinking to cover bases, i might need 2 repeaters, which repeat on each other.

Router > Repeater 1 > Repeater 2.

I dont need huge speeds. they only use it for light browsing and the occasional skype.

im looking at these 2:

do people have any thoughts on them, and can i daisy chain them easily?

Thanks

I dont mind any other suggestions. Thanks for the input! I am in Ireland, therefore UK prices/products would suit the best.

Both of those options look sound. The primary concern is not so much the bandwidth, but rather the amount of clients you can support. If you only have a few clients on the network, then using a couple of repeaters like this should work really well.
