Wireless frequently disconnecting

My wireless connection has started disconnecting frequently lately, like I'd be in the middle of a game or browsing and it stops for a split second then reconnects again all by itself. It's getting frustrating because sometimes it stops the whole process and then there's unsaved data which is basically lost. Please help.

You need to look for sources of interference. I will assume that you are using 2.4GHz wireless, which has many potential sources of interference including other networks, baby monitors, wireless mice and keyboards, speakers, headphones, microwave ovens, etc.

Do you have anything nearby that could be a problem?

Also, how many wireless networks are around you? Download the free version of inSSIDer from HERE, install and run it and look in the networks tab to see your competition.
