Hi.
I have a Torid gamepad sl-6576-bk. It looks like THIS
It worked fabulously on the Windows 7, but now it just refuses to work.
I've tried installing the official driver from HERE aswell as using the ones that come with windows.
Problem is that no matter what i do the blue ring in the middle just keeps blinking instead of settling at the top left corner indicating that it has paired with the reciever and that im the player1. Even on windows it acts as if its being connected and disconnected every second or so. SEE THIS
Basicly nothing i did worked, so if anyone had any ideas on what to do, i would highly appreciate it.
Considering dowgrading to Windows 7 if all else fails.

You could try installing the drivers in compatability mode (for best results try and delete the old ones first):

a. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties
b. Select Compatibility Tab
c. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list
d. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.

I'll try that. Doesn't make much sense to me since driver site says it should support windows 10.
UPDATE: That did nothing, same problem. Installed in compatibility mode for windows 7.

Just to make sure it's really the same problem I had:
At one point the controller started blinking really fast. It seemed like the battery was dying, as in, could not really be charged anymore, then again a little bit, then nothing. The blinking mine had was faster than the usual blinking.
It's weird that the controller doesn't just use the wired connection for power, but oh well. This calls for a hardware solution.

Anyways, the fix is really easy. And it's either
1) Take out the battery completely and get used to a wired controller
2) Exchange the battery for a new one (-PL 502450 600mAh, 3.7V, around 10 bucks)

You just need a small enough screwdriver. They are quite hard to get loose initially, I extended a screwdriver with pliers to get enough grip. Then I just cut off the battery cables. The blinking became the slow 'charging' blinking again, so I glued some paper on top off the LED(inside the controller) to stop the annoyance. Assembling it back is easy enough, just take care to not lose any of the little rubber thingies(the 'inner' buttons).

Controller works flawlessly again :)
Hope this'll help someone out there, enjoy!

PS: In case you're a silly goose like me... Before you try to break open the controller, there is one more screw under the white sticker on the bottom(taking it off voids your warranty I guess). No hooks in the plastic 😉
