Hiya everyone,

I recently bought the XBOX wireless gaming headset and paired it to my PC, but am unable to use the microphone. In the audio settings I see only the stereo audio option and not the wireless handsfree - AG that is typically available with all wireless audio devices that are connected to a Windows PC. I have tired almost everything from diver updates to disconnecting and reconnecting the device, nothing seems to be working.

Any thoughts on how this issue can be resolved?

Regards.

Have you checked access permission for the microphone?

Go to: Settings > Privacy > Microphone

There, make sure that both "Allow apps to access your microphone" and "Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" are turned on. You may also want to make sure that individual specific apps are granted permission to access the microphone.
