Wireless HDMI

People have been talking about wireless HDMI for years, but there still hasn't been anything on the market that is within reasonable costs. I mean, most wireless HDMI sets cost so much, I might as well buy a second computer and network them.

I heard that the new EEE pc is supposed to come with wireless HDMI, and will be priced within reason. Any such luck having that module as a standalone unit?

Wireless HDMI doesn't have any real backing. It's not a true protocol standard so you can't even be guaranteed a solution one device will be completely compatible with another.

You are definitely better off using other means of networking or audio/video feeds.
